Let’s get started! I want to show you how I made money by decluttering my house. In this video I will go over what types of items I’ve sold and how I’ve sold them. I want to help you declutter your living space and put some extra cash in your pocket!
1️⃣► BOOKS (0:34)
My whole decluterring process started with books. I love to read and I have A LOT of books. But, most are books I’ll never read again and I can let them go. All while earning some cash in the process!

2️⃣► ITEMS NO LONGER NEEDED (0:56)
Anything I did not need or will no longer use needs to go! Some items may not be of value but others may be. If I think I can get money from a no longer needed item, it will be sold. Did you know that the average U.S. Household has $5,050 of items that can be sold?! When considering an item to sell, I asked myself two questions:
1 – Have I used it in the last year?
2 – Do I plan on using it next year?
3️⃣► HOW TO SELL YOUR ITEMS (01:35)
Smaller items I sell on eBay. If an item is big and bulky (or over 5 pounds), I sell it locally. I had been using Craigslist for my local sales, but I’ve found much better apps to sell items locally, check them out:

Let me show you how easy it is to sell things locally. I’ll show you a simple step-by-step instruction on how I sell on Letgo! You can sell with minimal information, but you can also add more detail for a better chance of selling your item.
5️⃣► SELLING GLOBALLY VIA EBAY (5:30)
With eBay, you get the biggest bang for your buck! When you sell on eBay, you’re selling to the entire world! Here, I’ll walk you through the process of how I sold my broken iPhone on eBay.
