Moong dosa is a healthy recipe. It contains goodness of moong which are protein rich. This is like south Indian snack pasarattu. Moong dosa turns a little crunchy and tastes awesome. Moong is rich in fibre and helps in lowering cholesterol level. Do try this healthy recipe and drop a comment for me. You also can like, share and comment.
• 1/2 cup Whole green Moong
• 1/2 cup Moong dal
• 1/2 cup Rice
• Chopped Green chili
• 1/2 “ Chopped Ginger
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• Coriander leaves
• Salt to taste
• In a bowl take whole moong, moong dal and rice.
• Wash them really good with water 2-3 times.
• Soak everything in enough water for about 4-5 hours.
• Transfer the soaked moong, dal and rice into blender jar and add
green chili, ginger, cumin seeds, coriander leaves.
• Blend everything into smooth puree.
• The consistency of the batter should neither too thick nor too
• Transfer the puree into a bowl.
• Add salt and mix well.
• Heat up a pan on medium heat.
• Spread a little oil on the pan.
• Swipe the oil with a tissue paper.
• Add the batter at the center of the pan and spread it evenly.
• Spread the excess batter so that dosa gets even thickness.
• Spread a little oil along the edges and at the centre.
• When dosa gets light browning and when it begins to leave the
sides flip the dosa over.
• You can serve the dosa without flipping over too.
• Cook from other side for just about a minute.
• Take the dosa off the pan into a serving dish.
